This unisex geometric lapis necklace has blue raw stone in a 3-drop pendant. There are silver-plated small and medium beads that have high shine and reflection. The gemstones and beads are in a modern geometric design of lines and cubes and polyhedrals contained in a circle. Since as early as the Neolithic age, Lapis lazuli has been mined in Afghanistan and exported to South Asia and the Mediterranean world. Each natural stone in this piece of jewelry is unique. This necklace is made for those who love and wear unusual raw and natural stones! The chain and beads are silver-plated. Earrings are nickel-free. This is HANDMADE and made in USA.

Fun historical facts: Cleopatra used ground lapis to make her well-known dark blue eyeshadow. During the Renaissance, artists used ground lapis to make aquamarine paint. This was used in oil painting and frescos.
